NRA Basic Pistol

Course Description: This course is at 8-hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position, and two handed standing positions; learning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development.

Prerequisites: NRA certification is not available to any individual who has been convicted of a crime of violence, or who is prohibited by federal, state or local law from possessing firearms.

Shooting Events: During the NRA Pistol course you will experience the NRA / Winchester Marksmanship Program. During the program Carolina TacOps will issue each skill level you obtain! This will set you and friends / family to a fun goals in the shooting sports!!
